We have luxury bedding and towels (not for beach use), bathmats and locally produced toiletries including artisan hand soaps, body wash, shampoo and conditioner from Land & Water and Lynmouth Soapery. There’s a hairdryer in each of the king bedrooms.
We provide you with dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, tea towels and enough loo rolls for your stay. We have a Nespresso-style coffee machine and provide a handful of coffee pods. We also provide locally produced tea from the Exmoor Tea Company.
In the kitchen you’ll find sea salt, black pepper, olive oil, baking paper, foil and clingfilm.
We recommend arranging a groceries delivery for the evening of your arrival. We have had Sainsburys deliveries to the cottage without any problems.
For stays from October to March we provide you with enough logs and kindling for a couple of fires.
-
We have plenty of toys and children’s books to keep the little ones entertained and a TV with a good selection of DVDs if you need it!
For babies we have a Hauk Dream N Play travel cot, a Baby Bjorn high chair and a changing mat. We ask you to bring your own bedding for the cot as we find most parents prefer this.
For toddlers we have bed bumpers, a booster seat high chair, potty and children’s loo seat, bath toys and cutlery and crockery.
All the baby equipment is kept in the large wicker trunk in the single bedroom.
Please be aware that the stairs in the cottage are steep. Our children have coped well with them over the years but there is a stair gate on the door to the single room should guests prefer to use this.
